Description
20" (51 cm.) Ash-blonde hair in very elaborate coiffure. Wearing tagged "holly-berry red taffeta cut skillfully with great wide skirt sweeping to the floor...and a sheer front of tulle stole with iridescent dots" (as described in Alexander catalog of 1958), white taffeta petticoat, panties, stockings, silver sling heels, pearl drop earrings, double-strand pearl necklace, faux-diamond ring and rhinestone waist brooch. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 2285, 1958, with original wrist booklet and box. The exceptional coiffure retains its pure original condition with layered curls, beautiful complexion and vibrant costume colors, the doll was described in the 1958 catalog as "The Lady in Red".
