Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked feathered brow, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly-parted lips, two square-cut upper teeth and one lower, pierced ears, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful wide-eyed child with distinctive mouth and teeth, original body and body finish.
