Bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck opening on matching bisque shoulderplate which allows the head to pivot side to side only rather than 365 degrees, very plump cheeks and chin, cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, softly-stuffed kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, pull-strings in torso to achieve seated pose, kid-over-wood upper arms, bisque arms from above the elbows, bisque hands with well-defined fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Rohmer stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: charming petite poupee has distinctive swivel head, deposed body style with sitting strings, bisque forearms, and beautiful antique silk gown, undergarments, leather slippers, bonnet.
