20" (51 cm.) Ash-blonde hair with curly bangs, and hair drawn back into curls at her nape. Wearing tagged red silk brocade evening dress that is fully-lined with white satin and features dart-shaped bosom and lavishly full skirt, with matching draped shawl accented with a large white rose, red brocade cap decorated with dramatic red feathers, red netting and large "diamond" hat pin, red stiffened net petticoat, satin panties with Val lace, seamed stockings, red sling heels, white hat box, white nylon gloves, pearls, pearl bracelet, rare "diamond" ring. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 2098, 1955, original box labeled 2098. An outstanding doll with luxury fabrics creating a splendid costume, rare accessories. The doll was not shown in the Alexander catalog, suggesting its likely creation as a store exclusive.
