29" (74 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead with solid dome, black painted pate, black enamel glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, original kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, possibly Voit, circa 1850. Value Points: grand early poupee with classic poupee body, proud stance, wearing antique, possibly original, gown, undergarments, woven bonnet, stockings, and shoes.
