Description
5" (13 cm.) The small wooden cabinet with bombe-shaped sides and hinged front door with beveled glass panel is covered with brocade tapestry and gilt braid, and contains inside seven small miniature books dated 1896. The cabinet has gilt marking on underside "La Gracieuse avec ses 10 volumes, Modele Depose". Excellent condition, the set originally held 10 miniature books. Also included is French miniature white fur dog with curled tail. French, circa 1900.
