11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead of adult man with sculpted grey helmet having black brim and yellow straps and emblem, and sculpted blue feather, brown sculpted hair, brows, wide curly moustache and little goatee, painted brown eyes, tiny closed mouth, wooden block body and carved hands and black painted boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3/3 -2/0. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, maker unknown. Value Points: very rare doll with outstanding sculpting of helmet.
