Description
21" (53 cm.) The fruitwood cabinet with rich honey-toned finish has a full-length mirrored door and hand-painted floral decorations on drawers, with arched crest and paneled sides. The cabinet has a shelved interior with original ribbon-tied linens above a single drawer, a glass-front section in which are stored three antique doll bonnets, a faux-three-drawer door which hinges open to reveal a mirrored back and a porcelain five-piece toilette set which is still attached to original rose paper lining. The cabinet has original brass label of Au Paradis des Enfants, the luxury Parisian toy store. Excellent condition, the drop-front door has slight warp. French, circa 1890, a wonderful luxury toy with boutique label.
