Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pale outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body with square-cut collarette. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: attributed to Leon Casimir Bru with distinctive original body, circa 1865. Value Points: fine original condition with beautiful face highlighted by splendid eyes and eye decoration, very sturdy original body with original boutique stamp of Simonne of Paris, antique white pique fashion dress included.
