18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig in elaborate coiffure, cork pate, all-wooden poupee body with shapely carved torso, dowel-articulation at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees, (frail) antique silk and lace costume, undergarments, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1870. Value Points: fine quality of bisque and painting, rare wooden articulated body.
