Solid domed bisque socket head depicting a young lad with laughing expression, painted short brown hair with defined modeling of forelock curls, slightly-side-glancing blue intaglio eyes in deeply-set sockets, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined tongue and shaded lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique boy's Sunday Best suit with brown woolen jacket. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 7647 Germany 12. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: very rare grand size of the seldom-found model, having very choice bisque that enhances the remarkable sculpting of dimpled plump cheeks.
