16" (42 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with fretful expression, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with chubby torso and side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115/A 42. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the model marketed as "Phillip". Value Points: wonderful detail of sculpting especially of fretful lines around the eyes and mouth, excellent bisque and painting, original body, body finish, wig, antique brown velvet costume.
