Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes which operate from wire lever at back of head, rose-blushed eyeshadow, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, outlined shaded lips, two rows of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over original Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Figure B 3 J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris (head) Le Petit Parisien Jules Steiner (body). J. Steiner (eyes). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: fine artistic painting of complexion, original wig (stamped 3) and Steiner eyes, pate, original body and body finish.
