Solid domed bisque socket head, chubby face, brown painted eyes in deeply-set eye sockets, black and red upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouting expression, outlined lips, painted brush-stroked hair under original blonde mohair curly wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2033/5 539 2. Comments: Bahr and Proschild for Bruno Schmidt, circa 1912, the doll was presented with painted hair and with this alternative mohair curly wig. Value Points: rare model with outstanding sculpting, captivating shy wistful expression, choice bisque, original body and body finish, fine antique costume.
