15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral-threading and pronounced pupils, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French wooden poupee body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head and shoulders). Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful presence of the petite poupee with rare all-articulated wooden body, wearing very fine antique day dress with cutwork detail, undergarments, leather boots.
