Description
18" (46 cm.) h. x 26"w. x 13"d. The wooden store with angled roof is painted, original brown exterior with added painting of curtained window at one side, and an open window for clerk at the other side which is framed by painted shutters. The store rests upon a green velvet (later) covered base, and has original store signage "Raritaten - Devotionalien" above, with tapestry covered front counter, and lace edged shelving at the back wall. The store is filled with an extraordinary collection of miniature religious artifacts including candle holders, statuary, domed wax figures, reliquaries, chalices and more and a bisque doll (later era, circa 1890) stands in attendance. Excellent condition. German, early 1800s.
