19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly-parted lips, two square-cut upper teeth and one lower, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 11 H 908. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful rare model doll whose pale delicate complexion is contrasted by large brown outlined eyes, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume.
