16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brown flocked hair that exactly matches the painted brush-stroked brows with feathered details, bright blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted brown curly lashes, incised eyeliner, accented eye corners and nostrils, shaded and outlined slightly-parted lips, row of porcelain teeth, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 237 Paris. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: wonderful character with splendid eyes, original and well-preserved flocked hair, original body and wearing his factory-original boy's three-piece tweed woolen suit, shirt, tie, socks and shoes.
