7" (18 cm.) l. parasol. From the golden era of French poupees, the collection includes bone-handled parasol with blue silk cover and ivory fringe, porcelain wash bowl and pitcher with gilt edging and floral trim, folding fan with hand-painted details, chatelaine with three various attachments including cologne vial; enameled hand mirror with figural handle and hand-painted scene in the 18th century style, and 2 1/4" kidskin heeled slippers with rich gilt finish and star-centered blue silk bows. Excellent condition. French, circa 1870.
