Description
9 1/2" (24 cm.) and 15". Each is carved wooden canoe, the larger with painted symbols along the side panels and each with interior seats and original wooden paddles. Seated in the canoe are wooden dolls with simplistic carving and jointing, and wearing original costumes. Very good/excellent, the smaller with rubs on original finish. American, circa 1920s, attributed to Schoenhut of Philadelphia and very rare to find.
