17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with firmly-pressed and oil-painted facial features and hair, shaded blue/green eyes with spiral threading, brown and black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouty expression, stitch-jointed shoulders, separately-stitched thumbs, disc-hip-jointed plump legs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, series I, circa 1915. Value Points: beautiful original complexion with rosy cheeks.
