4" (10 cm.) The firm-sided slant-front box with hinged front has original blue paper finish with gilt lettering "Papeterie a ma poupee" surrounded by elaborate gilt scrolling, and opens to interior with compartments fitted with various stationery, pen and pencil. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875.
