15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with deeply-defined features, painted pale blue eyes with heavy eyelids and black upper eyeliner, one stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with primly-set pouting lips, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, few wig pulls. Marks: K*R 101 39. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, from their art character reform series, the doll was marketed as "Peter". Value Points: very fine modeling enhanced by dewy patina, original body and body finish, wearing outstanding original Tyrolean costume with embroidered suspenders, laced breeches, woolen leggings, loden jacket, leather boots, loden wool cap with tassels.
