Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket on corresponding shoulderplate, metal pin attachment at cork pate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, brunette human hair, softly-stuffed kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque arms to above the elbows. Condition: restoration at the back of head extending to the side, old restoration of fingers. Marks: (Rohmer stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1850. Value Points: very beautiful poupee with lustrous complexion, original signed body, lovely antique costume.
