24" (61 cm.) x 17" x 27"h. tent. Presented on original circus floor with original canvas tent decorated with flags and lettered "Humpty Dumpty Circus" is a grand assortment of carved wooden animals, circus performers and accessories in reduced size. These include: zebra, brown horse, pig, double-hump camel, orange-striped tiger, lion, elephant, rhinoceros, brown bear, hippopotamus, buffalo, ostrich, white horse with rider platform, goat, spotted leopard, donkey, along with acrobat lady, ringmaster, Black Dude, Hobo, and clown, and with two ladders, two chairs, two barrels, two drums and one ball. Very good/excellent condition. Schoenhut, the "reduced size" circus of the firm was introduced in 1923 in a cost-cutting effort and remained in production until 1935.
