Description
4" (10 cm.) Each has one-piece bisque head and torso, blue glass eyes, painted features, closed mouth, mohair wig, jointed bisque arms and legs, painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1900. Value Points: each is wearing its original khaki flannel uniform with cap, leather leggings; one with painted moustache and carrying sword and leather belt and straps with backpack; and the other with backpack and woolen cap lettered "Emden". Also included is a nodding head donkey with amber eyes and fitted harness and blanket.
