9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, sculpted short curly hair with forelock curl, blue side-glancing intaglio eyes, closed mouth, impressed cheek dimples, paper mache body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5/0 D Heubach (in square) 8738 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: all-original little tyke with shy yet curious expression, wearing store original costume and shoes.
