Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner with delicate fringed upper lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full pouting lips, impressed dimples at lip corners and chin, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model "Gretchen" from the firm's art character series, made with glass eyes for one or two years only. Value Points: rare variation, the character expression enhanced by finest bisque, original body finish, wearing fine antique mariner costume.
