Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with white eyedots, long curly lashes, very rosy cheeks, blonde mohair bobbed wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. He is wearing original one-piece shirt with blue flannel trousers, black flannel jacket, silk voile bow tie, socks, black front-snap shoes, and black pressed felt flannel top hat. Excellent condition, complexion bright and fresh, slight fading of pants. The doll is tagged "David Copperfield/Madame Alexander. New York" on right shoulder. Madame Alexander, 1933, depicting the character from the Charles Dickens novel.
