19" (48 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, sculpted brown hair with combmarked details waved away from her face and captured in a cluster of ringlet curls at the back; (the cluster is separately modeled and detachable), cobalt blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, red upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with prim lips, pierced ears, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower limbs, bisque feet enclosed in wrapped kid boots, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, reglue on left knee, left foot broken. Marks: 7 das VR&Co (paper label inside back shoulderplate). Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include glass eyes, swivel head, pierced ears, brown hair, and detachable coiffe.
