Description
13" (33 cm.) x 11". In original mahogany frame is a delicate watercolor depicting two young lads in studious pose, one standing at a chalkboard, the other seated with book in hand, a world globe behind him. The watercolor is signed "Sterio 1845". Excellent condition. The Budapest painter (1821-1862) was noted for his portraits and country scenes.
