21" (53 cm.) Firmly-stuffed all cloth doll with rounded-shape center-seam head having defined shape of tiny nose, oil-painted complexion, features and short brown hair with curls framing the face, large painted brown eyes with curly lashes, nostril accent dots, rosebud-shaped lips, oil-painted lower arms and legs, antique dress, undergarments, stockings, and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: from the Clarksville, Tennessee workshops of American artist, Nina Bonner Albritton, circa 1915; the dolls are notable for unique leg construction. Value Points: rarely found American cloth doll with well-rendered facial features and curly hair.
