20" (51 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial complexion, features and baby hair in shaded brown curls, painted blue eyes with shaded detail and white eyedots, black upper eyeliner and brows, eyeshadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouty expression, blushed cheeks and earlobes, cloth ring neck, stockinette body, separately stitched arms, loosely attached legs, sewn belly button, wearing coral corduroy ensemble, and with additional baby dress and bonnet included. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kathe Kruse, type 5 model marketed as "Traumerchen", circa 1925. Value Points: especially well-preserved original finish on the rare model with most endearing expression, costume is likely original.
