7" (18 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead with black sculpted hair waved smoothly around her face and captured in a chignon at the back of head, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, slender kid body with carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted brown slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: petite early lady doll has fine original finish, rare coiffure, original costume.
