15" (38 cm.) Bisque shoulder head depicting adult lady with elongated throat, light brown sculpted hair waved away from her face into formally arranged curls decorated by a black and gilt comb at her crown, fully sculpted pierced ears, blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted bodice with pink and gilt-edged collar and with blue bow having gilt edging and blue accents, old muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 107-3. Comments: C.F. Kling, Germany, circa 1870, another example of the rare model was exhibited at the Spielzeugmuseum of Davos. Value Points: fabulous deeply defined coiffure with comb, fancy bodice with unusual colors, antique linen gown, undergarments.
