10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition body with jointing at shoulders, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: most charming size of the early closed mouth doll, lovely bisque, original body and body finish, original antique dress, bonnet, undergarments and shoes.
