Description
22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted fringed upper lashes, one stroke tapered brows, rounded nose, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, brunette mohair wig, composition bent limb baby body, well costumed. Condition: nickel-size chip and rebuild at rim above the left ear, with emanating old hairline to front of ear. Marks: 1428 15. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: rare large size of the well-modeled character with deeply impressed dimples around the eyes and mouth.
