Description
19 1/2" (50 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brushstroked baby hair with forelock details, heavily-lidded blue/grey eyes with thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined tongue, shaded lips, composition baby body jointed at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Marks: K*R 100 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the premiere model of the firm's art character series, introduced in 1909. Value Points: rare larger size with outstanding detail of modeling around eyes, chin and ears, and with original body which also has superior modeling.
