13" (33 cm.) All composition with socket head, blue sleep eyes, real lashes, dark eyeshadow, open mouth, two upper teeth, ash-blonde human hair in original coiffure, jointing at shoulders and hips. She is wearing original peach tulle dress with peach faille ribbons and bows, over peach taffeta under-dress and panties, white socks and silk side-snap shoes, peach drawstring purse, and with original crown. The costume has original cloth label "Princess Elizabeth /Madame Alexander/All Rights Reserved". Excellent condition. Madame Alexander, 1937, the doll was first introduced in a 1937 ad in Playthings Magazine described as "another artistic triumph" and is presented in her original royal blue box (worn) designed exclusively for the model, with gold paper label and stamped model number "1886 T".
