Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, two sculpted upper teeth and tongue tip, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: b made in Germany 3 190. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912, the model was made in both painted eye and glass eye versions, the glass-eyed version being very rarely found. Value Points: rarity of the character is rivaled by her charming appearance, fine quality of bisque.
