10" (25 cm.) -12". Each is all-cloth doll with armature padded body, flat-bottomed large feet, and over-sized head in the shape of a vegetable, with painted facial features. Condition: near mint. Marks: made in Italy 100% pure wool (cloth tag on three). Comments: Italian, circa 1950, the maker is unknown. Value Points: pristine perfectly preserved figures with vibrant original people costumes, and wonderful expressions; included are carrot doll, green pepper doll, onion doll, mushroom doll, green pea doll, lima bean doll, and cayenne pepper doll.
