Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, blue glass spiral-threaded inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with delicately-shaped outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at knees and hips, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent, some light patching of kid body. Marks: 5. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his first model bebe, circa 1877, with original early body. Value Points: especially beautiful bebe with splendid eyes, exquisite painting of features, perfect bisque hands, antique costume, bonnet, leather shoes.
