Description
17" (43 cm.) Each is all composition with solid domed socket head, sculpted short brown curly hair, sleep eyes, lashes, tiny closed mouth with rosebud shaped lips, five-piece composition toddler body. Condition: generally excellent, slight eye fading. Marks: Alexander (dolls) (each cotton dress is tagged also). Comments: Alexander, Dionne Quintuplets, circa 1935. Value Points: rarer large set, each with original finish, each wearing original pastel cotton dress and bonnet, and presented in wicker hamper along with five sets of mother-made white flannel pajamas, and mother-made three-piece knit costumes.
