20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, dark curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig 160 2 1/4 (head) Heinrich Handwerck Germany 2 1/4 (body). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910. Value Points: the rare model has compelling eager expression, finest bisque and painting, especially pleasing rounded nose tip, impressed dimples at lip corners and philtrum.
