Description
15" (38 cm.) Of fine wood with bone veneers overall and carved bone drawer pulls, the desk features an upper bookcase with mullioned glass doors which enclose shelved interior above the slant front desk with an elaborately fitted interior and secret compartment. There are three lower drawers and pull-out supports for the open desk top, bracket feet, and swan's neck style crest centering an urn-shaped finial. Excellent condition. Early/mid 1800s.
