19 1/2" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117/A 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the beloved doll, marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling), circa 1912. Value Points: an especially beautiful example of the wistful-faced child, appealing size, original body, body finish, wig, and antique dress, stockings and shoes which are likely original.
