7" (18 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition body with jointing at shoulders, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 192. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1900, for the French market, presented by a prestige Parisian toy store such as Au Paradis des Enfants or Au Nain Bleu. Value Points: wearing its original elaborate dimity gown with lace and blue ribbon trim, undergarments, socks and shoes, and matching bonnet, the doll is presented in a custom bed with elaborate silk and lace fittings and lace canopy, the doll and bed presented in original box which opens to become a wall-paper lined room with lace edgings.
