8" (20 cm.) Posed upon a porcelain self-base is a lady with brown sculpted hair and sculpted country costume with painted floral designs, holding a watering can in her outstretched arms. Marks: (blue bishop's staff stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel & Kister, circa 1900, a fine example of the adaptation of porcelain modeling by this firm that could be adapted for use as half-doll or full figurine.
