8 1/2" (22 cm.) Poured wax head with tiny bead eyes, painted facial features, firm armature body with well-defined wax-over hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Continental, early 1800s. Value Points: very expressive facial features, wearing original elaborate court costume with metallic gilt edging, paillette-encrusted cap, leather boots, and posed on original wooden stand.
