Bisque socket head, small blue glass inset eyes in half-moon shape, dark eyeliner, painted short curly lashes, delicate feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wide shy smile, outlined lips, row of painted teeth, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique burgundy mariner costume, undergarments, leather shoes, and tan leather middy cap. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1450/0. Comments: Germany, maker unknown, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare model is virtually unknown, very fine quality of bisque and painting enhances the shy entreating expression.
